Beautiful light show and a lot of noise up here in Stone Oak. It was great! I'm gonna go out soon to check out the flooding in Mudd Creek.

The lady next door had some damage - just a couple of trim pieces that are covered half the time by flashing around the roof anyway were pulled off. They're waaaaay up high though so she has to call someone to fix it. I think her crepe myrtles banged around on the roof too.

I'm wondering how many roofing companies are getting calls about leaks that are next to impossible to find b/c they only leak when the rain is coming sideways at 45mph.

Early this morning was bad. It was raining like hell, and the street in front of my house had huge streams with intense water running off. Hopefully today is quiet and things can begin to dry up.

they're on my roof right now Ongoing leak though...maybe (hopefully) it will be fixed this time around. What a storm --- wowzer. Trees still standing for the most part thankfully, but lost some trim pieces on the house and the yard will take me days to clean up. Cat is traumatized and kids woke me up every hour last night. On the plus side, I'm too tired to go into hysterics when the repair bill is handed to me...

A chunk of my pecan tree fell on my neighbor yard. Guess what: 7 AM and she was banging on my door and asked to remove it... Told her to wait until the weather stabilize. Some people have no patience...
