Wow, that breeze and drizzle we got over the past two days was an actual tropical depression? Geez, it was just a little weather, Texas-style!

My little brother and I walked around in the torrential rain around 4 PM or so, goofing around. Every time the thunder went off, he shrunk inward, grabbed my leg and said "I'm scared!! Let's go home!"

Nothing like a cute 5-year-old 'lil bro.

I can guarantee that Hermine will be researched for years to come. This storm was very unusual in the sense that it sustained the same general strength projected at landfalll 15+ hours past landfall and did not weaken until after it passed San Antonio (~350+ mi after landfall).

Sounds to me like he is smarter than you are. You don't stay outside when it is thundering and lightning. I know this because I live in a state that has one of the highest number of deaths from lightning in the United States.
