Does anyone have the names of really great GunSmiths in San Antonio? On the North side, Bulverde/Spring Branch, or around Schertz/Cibolo is fine. We need to do some rifle work before the big fall elk hunts up north near the Canadian border. Yeeee Haaaaa. Thank you.

Thank you! What do you like about them? Any others? This one is located in New Braunfels, which is a bit of a drive, but if their worth it.....it could be considered.

Durys is a good place as well but if you look at a map, even though one is in San Antonio and the other in NB it still might be much closer.

I have never used them for personal work as there is next to nothing I cant do myself (I was in the business myself) but I have seen their work and I think they it is good work.

Canyon Sporting Arms - Tipp Burns. Up by Canyon Lake, but good. He's usually stacked pretty deep, though, so he might not be able to get it done for you in time.

If you can find out where Chris from Hoguns (521-2288) is going (Wayne is closing the shop this month), he'd be a good one to use!

Cheers! M2

Spot-on about Chris, M2 - just not sure how to track him down if you can't reach him via Wayne.
