Yep, my Yaris is my commuter car; and I still have my beloved Jeep.

I really like the Yaris. I would have gotten this car if I was unable to get the Prius.

I've never owned a Toyota, but I can say I bought my F-150 at Red McCombs Ford West dealership in February, and I was extremely satisfied with the sale. I've been back for service--well, the tint was jacked up on my window and they fixed it right away--and I've been in for one oil change so far. I will have to stop in there in a few weeks for another one. I would definitely recommend a McCombs dealership just based on my experience there.

I also traded in my Toyota at the same time and was given a good price. Good Luck!
I would also add a vote for Carmax. Myself and extended family have bought 4 cars from them. Excellent service, cars were excellent quality and the prices were in line with everything I saw in researching online.

Also, I will never ever set foot on another Red McCombs owned lot. I sold cars at the Toyota dealership in the early 90's. He is one of the rudest most pompous people I have ever met in my life. Without derailing the thread too much, I happened to be the unlucky SOB who answered the phone one day when he called. I quit the next day.

Red McCombs, the service is great. I have purchased two vehicles from , one in 08 and one in March of this year. They seemed genuinely concerned with my satisfaction after each visit. CarMax is ok if you want a dependable car, and don’t want to haggle. My father purchased two cars from CarMax. I love the haggle part so I dont like to purchase from them. If someone is considering an Acura I would go to Sterling Acura in AUSTIN (sorry to go off topic)

Before you talked to any dealers, I would talk to Ron with Ron Gets It first. He might be able to help you out and get a better deal. He is local auto broker.

I would never buy a car from Cavender ever.... I had the worst experience there ever and will never return.

Thanks to all who provided their recommendations and experiences at different dealers.

Looks like we'll be heading to a McCombs dealership to buy our new Toyota.

I've never bought a Toyota from a Toyota dealer, but we have a Tundra pickup right now, and had to bring it in to have the brakes checked; Red McCombs did well for us - I'd recommend them.
