Ok so I've only been here in San Antonio fo about 9 months. I've just relocated from NY and am now living in the Cibolo/Schertz area. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my husband and two sons for the 4th of July. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there something going on in Cibolo that I don't know about?

Woodlawn Lake.

Get there early to get a good spot and enjoy yourself. You'll have a blast. As for Cibolo, not sure what they do.

Thank You all for your suggestions.

My family and I decided to move here because of the cost of living. NY is so expensive and you can get so much more for your money here. We decided on Cibolo because they have a pretty good school district and my fiance has some family in Converse that we can be somewhat close to. Another factor were the taxes, you probably know but the taxes in NY are crazy and Guadalupe taxes are little less than San Antonio.

We always do the Sea World thing. But the past few years has been so crowded.

We are going to our very first Missions Baseball game with our daughter! Don't know if you are into baseball but that is another event that is going on on July 4th!
