Let's go Sapphire...I'm buying.

Good grief.....this kid needs to get a few years of real life under his belt before he can form an educated opinion about anything. Brace yourself Austin....another young, arrogant know-it-all on the way!

I tell ya...I feel this has got to be bait....some kid with nothing to do... just wants to stir the pot for entertainment.

As much we tend to disagree with each other. I have to agree that this was funny.

I can't believe I'm writing this...but...totally agreed...a great line by the Sapphire.

It's nice to know there are certain things even the most disagreeable of people can agree on.

actually, i agree with the reviews from the op. most are pretty spot on since i experienced the same when i was out there 1-2 years ago. i think that area was at it's peak maybe around 2008 until many businesses started towing vehicles that were parked in their lots. many have gone to other clubs and bars in different areas close by. yeah, there were a lot of ''dark haired' people lol. but of course this is san antonio, and i didn't mind that one bit. i don't live in san antonio anymore, but i used to go out a lot 1-2 years ago in that area.

and san antonio definitely has a party scene. there are lots of bars/ ultra lounges/and some clubs. you just gotta go out and find it. people that say sa has no party scene don't go out and party.

I would also say white just like a Spanish person would. The U.S. government started using Hispanic mainly for Latin Americans because many of them are not white or all white.

Portuguese descent is considered Lusitanic. It cannot ever be considered Hispanic.

Now if your Portuguese descent is from Brazil then one can be considered Latino since that describes someone from Latin America, which Brazil is part of. A Portuguese descended person from Portugal though is not Latin American or Hispanic.

Hey!! This Portuguese descent guy may tag along.
Haha. It's really interesting how this thread evolved. Bars/clubs, percentage of "hispanics" in town, populated areas of town, justification, racism, census, education, and more were all mentioned in this thread. Very interesting and humerous at times......
