Since this thread is from October 2010, I'm wondereing if there are any recent referals for Exterior Painters in the San Antonio area?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who knows of a good Exterior House Painter or who has had the exterior of their house painted in the past year or two.
Both good and bad comments will be welcome (so I know who to avoid

Is there any stucco? If you have stucco, I would recommend Diamante Coatings. None better. (210) 543-2420. They do all kinds of surfaces but they really know their stucco.

Our house is not stucco, but thanks for the reply Rustybolt.
I'm surprised there are no more responses to this post. Doesn't anyone in San Antonio ever have to paint the exterior of their house??
Our house is mostly brick, but on the back side,... the upper part is wood or wood siding and our house is not unique. I see many houses that are part brick with some wood.
I really would like to get at least a couple of estimates and it would be so helpful to know of someone that is recommended.

I have a retired painter that has done nothing but paint work and drywall. He does small to medium jobs so it depends on how difficult the jobsite is. Give him a call and he can come by and give you an estimate.
