So glad to see this post. We went to the Greek festival that was awesome in Houston. I hope this one is just as fun and I hope the food is good. My husband is Lebanese and is looking forward to some good greek food! I will post and let you know how we like it.

Thinking of changing my mind and going. Hopefully I'm not too tired from a morning task!
Also, there will be a parking shuttle leaving from YWCA (Tripoint) to take guests to the festival itself.

Ok! I had to go last night!! It was incredible. I had a Greek blush wine that was like no blush wine I had ever had. The food is amazing and the dancing was incredible! In fact, I'm going back out there again later in the afternoon today. It's such a mello atmosphere and everyone is friendly.
I opted not to do the shuttle because the shuttle line is long, going and coming and they don't have enough shuttles. I chose to drive down St. Marys street and parked half a block away on the street. trust me folks, there is plenty of parking a block or less next to the festival. I encourage anyone who is thinking about going to go.
It's only 3 bucks to get in and the food and drinks are very reasonable. I left about 9:30pm because it was starting to get fairly packed....
all in all, it was a great time....

There's the greek church two blocks from me off of the St Mary's Strip. It's on the corner of Ashby and St Mary's. I live right down the block from there and then there's Demo's Greek Restaurant right across the street from the church.

Opa!

What time did you go yesterday? I'm thinking of going today around 3 pm.

It was pretty packed, the shuttle service did not have that much of a wait though, and the Gyros were good. Everyone looked drunk on stage doing that huge circle dance.
