Bulverde Rd. Phase III (Marshall to Evans)
Reconstruct Bulverde Road to include two lanes in each direction, continuous center turn lane, curbs, and necessary drainage.

Finish: 3Q 2008

Ugh. And traffic will soon get worse, with the HEB on 281/Evans to transform into an HEB/Plus, as well as the flagship Spectrum Athletic Club going just across the way. The expansion of 281 (or toll-roads for that matter) can't come too soon...

If Blanco and Bulverde expansion get done early. That should do a lot to alleviate 281.

The city knew that the area would experience heavy growth since they began talks with PGA around 2000. The city has tried to get the ball rolling on the 281 expansion project but was only met with lawsuits over the past couple of years. I'm sure that all the time and effort put into that project (281) allowed few resources to be diverted to other arterial roadways in the area.

Not only that people need to realize San Antonio is old. We have an aging infrastructure. Their annex the county plan was not all that responsible IMO.

Hiway 46 will be the new 1604 within 10years and the city will try to annex land out there
