I searched around first, sorry if I missed it. I was doing the normal 10-15 minute wait today at the light on N 281 to W 1604 and noticed that the large field behind KFC and Bill Millers was nearly completely clean now. Looks like they cleared that land pretty quickly. Its a pretty large area, maybe another dealership?

Anyone know what they are building?

Well, I do now that Alamo Toyota planned to build a new complex at the 281/1604 intersection a couple of years ago, and vacate their NE Loop 410 location, except for used car sales and the body shop.

There couldn't possibly be much in the way of undeveloped property at that intersection, so maybe that's what it is. I avoid that intersection unless absolutely necessary.

Land still owned by Toomey family (who own Alamo Toyota) so that must be it.
