Now that we're home (my last post was from my 'Droid), I can provide a little more info. There is a guy at the show selling Russian memorabilia; when you go in keep turn right past the place you pay then take your next right. You'll pass the bathrooms on your right, keep going straight until about the third to the last row of tables, he will be about two tables in on your left. He had about three shelves of nesting dolls on display, I would've taken a pic with my phone but photography isn't allowed at the show; but he does have a nice selection.

They charge $3 to park, but if you aren't going to be there long you can either try parking at IHOP or on the street and save that fee. It's $5 per person to go in.

Hope that helps!

Cheers! M2

Thanks everyone for your help! I bought the nesting dolls last week at Institute of Texan Cultures gift shop. They have a large selection ($15-$300) and free parking.

Sasha's didn't have them- they'll get a shipment closer to Christmas. There was a display doll behind the counter (missing the smaller pieces) and I asked the woman if I could buy it. She was so nice- actually offered to let me borrow it for free. (It was for my sister's class- she's a teacher.)

Wow that is quite expensive for $300. What does $15 dollars get you?

Spoiler
And no one should park at IHOP if not eating there >_<

There were 3 traditional dolls for $15 each- about 4-5 inches high, with 5 "dolls" in each set. Not sure how to post pics:

They had some non traditional dolls too, from Disney to presidents. This one might be a good White Elephant gift =)

I'm glad you were able to find it!

I'm curious about the Disney one...my best friend is a huge Disney fan! That might make for a neat Christmas present actually.

Oh, so cute, even the 'White Elephant' one, kinda.

I also feel another trip coming on to visit the 'boat' aka the Institute of Texan Cultures.
