I was headed home, north bound on 281 when I get to Stone Oak and the traffic slows down. A sheriff SUV comes down the meridian with lights on so I assume it's an accident. Well a little bit further down, they have the south bound traffic blocked off with several sheriff cars as well as un marked cars. They had some tripod thingie out and they were pointing it towards the field. The south bound lane was shut down all the way to Overlook Parkway with officers directing traffic for those of us who are turning onto Overlook Pkwy and those who were turning out of Overlook onto north bound 281. I haven't seen anything on the news about it.

I was wondering about that too. The only thing I could think of was they were investigating a fatality, but I couldn't find anything either.
