For the record, I didn't post this with the poll....I personally don't care if they keep the camp here or not...it was added in my one of the mods. I'm sure it was added so that the thread was SA related and I totally understand and am completely fine with it. I had second thoughts as soon as I posted because it was not originally SA related and thought maybe it shouldn't be here so thanks to whoever added it to keep the thread here. SA does have a huge Cowboy following.

So when is Jerry going to fire himself and hire a true professional gm? Until then, the Cowboys are just spinning their wheels.

Jerry is turning into Al Davis

An NFL team coming here would come from where, exactly?

Last year on another forum a few of us agreed that a piecemeal team from the arena football league might fill the spot...we were going to call them the San Antonio Flan and put them in hot pink and black uniforms. They could hold their training at Chucky Cheese's and in Dallas.

I won't say in what capacity, but I worked in close proximity to the Cowboys during one of their recent training camps in SA. I was there first-hand to see and hear the players up close on a daily basis.

I have to be honest. HALF OF THE PLAYERS HAD NO CLASS. The old saying, "Money doesn't buy class is very true."

I witnessed numerous players (on a daily basis) being overly (and rudely) loud, almost belligerent, very thuggish-acting, and annoying. On one particular incident, this very tiny and petite young Mexican female employee (working for a different company) who only spoke Spanish was walking by, and one of the HUGE (300 pounds) African-American football players "pretended" like he hit her (he caught the fist in his hand) near her body. I looked over there in shock. She brushed it off. But I was very uncomfortable seeing that.

I believe it's more the players than the coach's fault. I do believe the coach shares blame though but also the players who show no real interest in getting somewhere as evidenced by their recent win/losses record and what I witnessed working near them. It appears to be they are just fine bringing in the dough with no strings attached (or effort).

As far as the training camp, I would like for it to stay here only because it brings in money to the city. Either way, I wouldn't care if they left somewhere else to be quite honest.

I've never been much of a Cowboys fan, and after seeing most of the players up close and personal, I definitely don't think highly of them.

I am with you Will. How embarrassing it is to have all these stupid cowpig fans running all over themselves to watch a bunch of high-priced, prideless primadonas run through a bunch of meaningless drills. What an insult.

Here's what I would like to have happen. San Antonio is the relocation spot of choice for the Chargers, Bills, Jaguars or Raiders in 2011. It doesn't matter whom. Just so long as the hated cowpigs are run out of town on a rail never to be seen or heard from again.

I just have to laugh every time I see San Antonians wearing all the cowgirl garb. Oh well, at least they don't jump off the bandwagon even when the 'girls are losing. I'll give 'em that much.

Well when the Saints came to town 5 years a tv station in town had said Jones would not approve a team in SA, second look at many of the NFL teams struggling to sell tickets. So it could come from a move hell maybe expansion, you never know. But as long as Jones has this town by the you know what, he will see SA as a bunch of morons for going to his stupid camp as our NFL fix.
