San Antonio Missions Trail not including the Riverwalk Mission Reach. This will be my favorite of all San Antonio parks.

I'd like to see the numbers when they don't count people running away from the cops.

SweetHomeSA you know Houston has had mile of trails like those for years right. They criss cross the city east west, north south for many miles.
the Brays Bayou trail started in the 1970's, so did the white oak trail, The Columbia Tap Trail and The Hershey trails are newer, I don't know when the BUffalo Bayou trail was built, there is the ones at Rice, Memorial, Hermann, Tom Bass, Bush and many others.

There are plans to expand the trails to bring it up to 300 miles

Medina River will extend about 13 miles from Hwy 16, around the Toyota plant, to Mitchell Lake.

Add that to the mentioned 27 miles in hike and bike trails being built you've got almost 80 miles of new trails. That doesn't include miles of trails available at the 180+ parks spread across SA.

No wonder National Geographic ranked us one of the 12 best adventure cities!
yeah, while all these things are being Planned for SA other cities already have them. nothing to shout about dude.

you are talking about 75 miles of trail for SA compared to almost 300 for houston.

You are talking about 180 parks for SA compared to over 300 parks for Houston.

Have you seen the sizes of GB, Memorial, Hermann, Tom bass, parks in Houston?

There are not 300 miles of hike and bike trails in Houston, Houston's website says 80 miles of hike and bike trails. The 300 plus are designated lanes through the city which most all major cities have, lol. I have bike lanes all over my suburban subdivision. San Antonio has more Hike and Bike trails and more are being built. Houston does have a great system as well.

it say the 345 does not include the hike and bike trails in parks. there are many hike and bike trails (in fact the majority) that are not in parks. The columbia tap trail is an example. it cuts through a neighborhood, it is elevated, it is about 8 ft wide but cars can't drive on it. you know nothing about Houston dude, I lived in SA for 4 yrs

the lanes do go through the city, but it is not on street level, so keep your lols to yourself, you don't even know what you are talking about.

the Brays Bayou trail alone is more than all of the trails in SA combined.

Houston has 345 +80 more in parks such as Memorial and GB

It can't be any more clear!

The network includes bike lanes, bike routes, shared lanes and bayou trails, rails to trails, and other urban multi-use paths. This network does not include 80 miles of hike and bike and nature trails found in City of Houston parks. Cyclists travel on designated bikeways and merge onto bicycle-friendly streets to complete their journey.

exactly, you come from the Columbia tap trail and you merge unto bicyle friendly streets in 3rd ward, what is so hard to understand? you can also merge from the columbia tap trail to the brays bayou trail.
