LOL, you're still hung up on that Merovee?

Dopo, since the left lane is ending, the people in the left lane need to move to the right. If the right lane is ending, then a sign will be posted telling them to merge to the left.

People throwing toilet paper into the trash cans in public restrooms even though the toilet is working fine. It makes the restrooms smell horrible. I heard it might be a bad habit of those who can't flush toilet paper at home, but it's still disgusting.

@ meisha oh believe me it has been years and it is mostly people from Mexico who come up here thinking they know it all. When some of us got mass deported (repatriated) to Mexico in the earlier and middle parts of the last century, even if we were US citizens, they also called us norteños, Tejanos, foreigners that did not belong in Mexico, so the feeling is mutual, we are different peoples with different ways.

Also people who put toilet paper into the trash are most likely also from *drum roll* mhmm, Mexico! It is because their plumbing or toilets are different and would clog it up down there. Truly, flushing down tp is a blessing we have that most rarely think about. I think it is annoying too, learn the rules of the land my lovely ethnic cousins (:

@ plwhit yes, I remember, was it in 85? My little doggy was walking in it down a steep hill but instead of sliding down smoothly he kept getting his little legs stuck in the ice, I wish it would have been smoother but all that snow had a thin layer of ice covering it. Still it was a great time to be alive and experience snow.

@ Merovee Yes it was 1985..... I remember holding snowball making classes for the kids on the block. Another thing I remember was how quiet it was, almost no cars on the street...

Ya, you are right, 13.5 inches according to NOAA. For some reason we also got heaps more snow than Austin did that time.

Hehe those who did try and drive quickly learned locals do not know how to drive in snow. I remember some slick guy with experience from up north put chains on his tires and got to drive around.

@ snowball classes, how cute.

Yep, I haven't seen snow yet, just flurries that melted right when they hit the ground.

I know some people complained about those slowing down too much before they turn. I hate when people slow down at the last minute or don't slow down enough. People here tend to swing out when they turn or make really wide turns. Maybe if they slowed down more, they would be able to turn better.
