I started this poll the night WOAI was revealing their list and named the Alamo. It was sort of a "given" as number one. I mentioned that in the very first post because WOAI stated it was the obvious all time fav.

That's a tough one. I remember going to the Majestic on the bus as a kid and thinking it was the height of sophistication to be Downtown. There were stars painted on the ceiling and that was wondrous. It was (and remains) a beautiful and vital place.
But The Boots, you just gotta love it! It's soooooooooo San Antonio - our heritage. SA was the place the ranchers would come to do their big city business. To this day, ranchers in South and West Texas come to our city to enjoy civilization in its nicest sense (and still do business). When we lived out in West Texas, we loved our trips here and they were frequent. Stocking up at HEB......whooops, gotta watch it, don't want to go too far OT.
Bottom line, I'm rootin' for The Boots!
