I am planning on going to the midnight mass at San Fernando Cathedral next weekend for the Virgin of Guadalupe's feast day-- I have heard that it is pretty neat to see and a great religious/cultural event here in the city. My question is, does anyone know how big the event actually is (what one can expect in terms of crowds) and where are good places to park nearby? (I don't want to have to walk too far, in the dark, and that late) Thanks!

Wish I could help. They have redesigned that whole plaza around the cathedral that it's very confusing now. Call the church and ask about close parking and how early you should get there. Early birds get the best parking anyway! Have a blessed evening.
