Anyone have any idea what this is going to be? It is the Western Real Estate Property owend by Western Sizzlin, subsidiary of Biglari Holdings. SAWS ran what appears to be a fairly sizeable water line to the property and Yantis Company has done a not-insignificant amount of earthwork there. Just curous what this will be. Lots of work going on along this part of the I-10 corridor.

Wouldn't be surprised to see another hotel or yet another big box store.

Isn't that where the Talavera boutique hotel and ultra-lux condominiums are supposed to be built? I remember a couple of years ago we looked at the master plan for the area at a staff meeting and that was mentioned.

Wait.... Western Sizzlin is a Steak buffet.....

The property is adjacent to where the Talavera was to be built...and I'm pretty sure that the Talavera was canx. And yes, the Western Sizzlin of steak notoriety. I don't believe this would have anything to do with a steakhouse, but for whatever reason they were the ones who owned this 23 acre tract of land.

It's a Steak N Shake.

"The company will also be constructing one on the land that is owned by Western Acquisitions on 'the loop' of San Antonio; a great sign that headway is being made with the plot that was bought a while back."

Hmmm. Good homework but that doesn't make sense. The earthwork covers almost all 23 acres and the location is difficult to access. Northbound on I-10 you will have to exit before 1604 to get tO it. Can always wait and see whT develops.

Well tgannaway89 is right on the mark and Soviet gets his wish: see page 5 at the link.

I note it says that a small portion of the land is for a Steak and Shake. Considering the earthwork, there must be a substantial amount of other stuff to be built. Still going to be a b*tch to get to with the location. Then again, if you really want one of them burgers...

It shouldn't be that hard to get to...you can get off at La Cantera Parkway and just keep going strait past the Rim.

The location is before the exit for La Cantera. If you exit at La Cantera you will have already passed it.
