Thanks so much everyone! I just called the 244-0500 number and it was so easy.

Push option 2

You don't even need your account number -the automatic prompt asked if the phone number I was calling from is connected to the same account number.

And then I said "customer service" and was connected right away.

I said I was calling to find out if my account qualifies for free Showtime for a year. She said that since we are paying $14.99/month for HBO, then it does.

Can someone please remind all of us in a year that we need to cancel?

Threaten to cancel your Showtime service and they'll probably offer to give it to you free.

How funny, I scored free showtime also. I was actually in the hospital in december, and before I got out, my mother said she had a surprise for me when I got home, well she got me the free showtime, I'm the only one in the house with digital cable. I asked her, how did you do it? she said she was calling TW to see if there was a way she could get the bill lowered, TW said no, but we could have free showtime for a year, so she said "might as well"...LOL but I didnt know about the free 3 month HBO though.

If you took advantage of this promotion last year then you should have already cancelled if you want to avoid being billed.

I started getting billed way before the year was up, we called them, and they said they were sorry, must have been some sort of error. since then we downgraded to basic, only 22 channels for 30 bucks a month, plus I found all the channels I was missing without extended cable online anyway.
