News Radio 1200 WOAI San Antonio Texas - Top 10 News Stories 2010

IIIRC, off the top of my head, this forum had threads for 6 of the Top 10 local news stories for 2010.

My recollection is that we never discussed CPS nuke plants, the new archbishop, Haven for Hope or "military construction" in their own threads.

I think the new archbishop was discussed, but the thread was short-lived.

The only things I could think of were events that effected me. 1. The Census, I worked as an Enumerator. 2. The ATM machine robberies because they hit a gas station I frequent. 3. The Jemenez Thanksgiving Dinner. I didn't hear a thing about it this year. 4. The elections. Ciro Rodriguez lost. 5. The HEB I went to for 20 years (Marbach location) and most of the Westlakes Mall was torn down and replaced with new buildings. 6. Somebody is finally doing something with the Super Kmart (410 at HWY90) after at least 15 years.

This was probably already discussed, but what is going on there?

I'd like to know too; I always go to the Planet Fitness and drive by it on the way back home.

So what do others think is the saddest story of 2010?

I am undecided between Tony and Eva's divorce or the Yuchnitz saga. I think Yuchnitz though, just quite pathetic, and tragic all around. In either case I feel sorry for all of them.
