I probably couldn't name two songs in the top 100 right now. Probably couldn't even name one.. On my Sirius, I usually flip between channels 7, 8, and 9

Wendy's. Remember back in the late 70's, when their slogan and annoying commercial said "Hot and juicy, hot and juicy" over and over? We went on a road trip from Virginia to NYC one summer, and my mom's boyfriend's kid sang that jingle THE ENTIRE WAY THERE!!!!! OMG he was about 7 and I was 12 and I was actually plotting how I could "accidentally" open the door and push his little ass out on I-95. I guess it was good training for my childrearing years but Good God I Can't Believe I Didn't Kill Him. LOL

And then we got there, and it was the summer that Son of Sam was killing people, and I was terrified. But other than the homicidal rage I felt on the way up, and the paralyzing fear that gripped me once there, it was an amazing trip. Hahahaha!!! NYC is so awesome.

Strange, I don't remember that one at all.. just "Where's the beef?" with those two old ladies. We didn't get a Wendy's until probably the late 70s or early 80s. I think it was the 80s, so that could be why I've never heard of that one.
The first Wendy's was in Columbus, OH in 1969. See, TV can teach you a few things..

The Fourth without fireworks is officially my favorite holiday

I'd kill to have a San Antonio that was just like the one I experienced yesterday. Restaurants and stores were nearly empty and so were the roads
Wherever everyone was, I didn't miss them one bit.

have to agree with ya there rd. the evening was surprisingly quiet. all my neighbors did on both sides of me (and behind) were bbq and chitchat inside and outside. no fireworks. no loud obnoxious retards yelling. just silence all night long with the occasional laugh.

I know I could get used to that..

of course it was totally ruined by the trying to get into work fiasco this morning, but all good things must come to an end, especially when stupid people are involved... nothing like nearly sealing your building off from your own employees. Took me over 30 minutes just to figure out how to get in the building this morning. They are messing with construction and really screwed up today. You could see the building, you could even park right next to it, but there was only one way in and it was pretty well hidden and not even close to where I was parked. eeeeeeeeeeediots!

the goodwill on vance jackson/fredricksburg has a parking lot like that. its not hidden, but its a pain to get in and its so small that parking is usually a big problem there.
