A not guilty verdict means just that....not guilty. The jury gave a not guilty verdict because there was not enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she killed Caylee. Not guilty does not mean the jury thought she was innocent; she just wasn't proven guilty. When people put in a not guilty plea, it does not always mean they are saying they are innocent, it just means that they are challenging the charges. I hope Florida passes that law making it a crime to wait 31 days to report that your child is missing.
