Smart idea trying to play soccer this morning.....

He's still wet behind the ears.....minor. It's major when you're over 30. Hurts a whole hell of a lot worse.

worse than a broken bone or fracture: ligament trauma. Will take forever to heal Was really planning to do lots of stuff this weekend.

welcome to the wonderful world of getting old...

I remember the first time I jumped off something when I was in my 30s. You can't do that like when you were a teen and those bones can snap a lot easier. Luckily for me it just hurt like hell and my streak of never breaking a bone continues to this day (knocking on wood).

Either the doc diagnosed it wrong or I'm a mutant, but I am off crutches and the boot! Woot! Was told that it would take 3weeks - 5months for it to go away....but at this rate, I'm looking at playing soccer again next weekend....but will be a goalie this time.

gawd...I tried to show my kiddo how to do a cartwheel the other day and O.M. Double G, I pulled things in certain places that made me fear I might never walk normally again.

Stinks getting old.

And no, kiddo still can't do a cartwheel, but she'll have to get lessons from someone at school. My gymnastics days are clearly over...
