I am looking for a reasonably priced door for rent house with fire protection or to standards (still looking at that). The door will be from the garage to the kitchen area and I was thinking between 100 and 200 dollars. I looked at Lowes and Home Depot online but do not see where anything is mentioned about the fire safety, I think 20 minute protection.

Also I am looking for some easy to install smoke detectors. Or something that I can put immediately until I can get a professional in.

Thank you

Check the door that is there to be sure it is not already fireproof. If it an attached garage and built that way, it may well have a fireproof door already. If it has a metal core it may look like a wood door and be fireproof already.
As for the inexpensive, easy smoke detectors, Lowe's has multi packs of battery powered detectors. Minimum code requires one in each bedroom over the door. They are installed with 2 screws. So a multi pack may do the job for you.

I think you need a metal door 20 gauge skin/20 min fire protection. Check with Habitat for Humanity. They have lots of them.
