And yes, that was a stupid question. :-)

Attn: San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

Please add " Not enough Electricity" to the list of why San Antonio cant attract companies to move here.

- Not enough Water
- Not enough educated people, etc, etc.

If you're referring to the first question, not really a stupid question. It does not affect those older homes with gas space heaters.

Someone's not happy with this cold weather today... or maybe too many blackouts?

Last night's low out in cold, hilly boonies...17.4°. Just above 27° right now, so probably isn't getting above freezing. Wish DH had had that old gas stove connected up so that when the blackouts hit here we could have a little heat. No hot water already...I'm pretty sure a pipe froze! Crap! All you that said how WONDERFUL it was to have some real cold...I hope you're enjoying the blackouts.

Pretty sure it's been explained several times that it's not just CPS customers being affected, but the whole state. Take it up with ERCOT or whoever it is that regulates the energy.

Still nothing here in the 253 area. Maybe it'll miss us.

I just tried to break up the ice in the bird baths with a hammer. No luck, they're still frozen solid.
