Hi all! We have friends here visiting from overseas, and their five year old daughter wants to line dance. Does anyone know of a restaurant where they have country dancing, and where the atmosphere is appropriate for families?

Thanks in advance!!

I'd recommend PoPo's out IH10. Then go dancing next door at Nelson City Dancehall

Po Po Family Restaurant Home (http://www.poporestaurant.com/home.htm - broken link)
http://www.nelsoncitydancehall.com/

Or you can try the Gristmill and Gruene Hall outside of New Braunfels

But I think PoPo's and Nelson City might be more family oriented. I would check their calendars. Nelson City holds private parties and is not open all the time.

Albert Icehouse in Albert is supposed to be family friendly. I can't vouch personally, but I spoke with one of the managers over the summer when we were thinking of going, and she assured me that it was. You could always go to an early show.

Or, if it's still on the market, you can buy the whole town of Albert for $883,000.
