EVERY city has its ups and downs. I think it's a okay city, not anything to get excited over. At least, I haven't seen any overly happy people. Just normal people I suppose.

I was nice enough to let one out = WRONG
the car that I "blocked" from driving in front of me drove around me and a young girl rolled her window down and flipped me off

AlejandraG, if you decide to relocate to San Antonio, you will find it a very friendly and an overall very easy going city. It is not a perfect city, but it is pretty close. You should not have any trouble here finding a decent social life that pertains to your specific characteristics or likes.

San Antonio is a friendly city just like any other city. I lived there my whole life before I decided to move and get out. The people have become rude and snobbish over the years and most only care about themselves and hogging the congested roads with their gas guzzling sports utility vehicles all while looking at the smog cloud hovering over the downtown area because of non-attainment and ozone. San Antonio really needs to implement emissions testing or it will be the next Los Angeles with a smog cloud over the downtown area all year!

The city has been friendly and still is.The problem is you have all these outsiders from other parts of the country moving here like California, the Midwest and the East Coast. Some of these people are decent and nice, and others just well, can't post it on a family website.
But in the main,it's better than New Jersey ,New York or other places in the south.
