I usually buy it at heb but its a little pricey for a 12oz bottle.. $1.29 each I had also bought it at albertsons in houston last year for a $1.00 sale price.. So my question is... is there a store cheaper in san antonio that can come close to the $1.00 price or? am I stuck paying heb prices for it. Thanks, as a whole case today cost me $32.00+ change.. Pretty steep for soda in my book.... The coke is kick butt though... Thanks !! if you have some answers for me...

Pobre, is that price for the Mexican Coke? I know at the Costco out here they only have the I'll call it "American coke" for lack of a better name.

I agree that the Mexican coke is sooooo much better. I think it's because it's still made with regular sugar and not all that high fructose corn syrup that so many products here are putting in because it's cheap.

Yep. It has the requisite sticker complying with the US food labeling requirements.

Si, esta "hecho en Mexico"

It's really good, so we try not to buy it too often. Personally, I think sodas in glass bottles taste better and stay colder longer.

Darn. I don't have a membership there and would also like to get them cheaper. Any other place?

Try a local carniceria or fruteria. They will have a high demand for the Coca Cole de Mexico.

Aah! Just got a price from Sam's Club! The only one that would actually check the price for me (not good customer service by phone) was on SW Military...$18.33 for the 24-pack. But hopefully they all have the same price. At least that's a lot cheaper than HEB (that thinks they have a monopoly and can charge whatever they like). Have you ever noticed that drinks taste better from glass bottles than from plastic bottles or aluminum cans? Setting aside the subject of better taste of REAL sugar. I'm old enough that I grew up with real sugar and believe it or not, my taste buds ALWAYS know the difference! I want to cut down on sodas, so paying a little more for less frequent better-tasting sodas makes sense!

La fiesta sells them for .99 each. That's the cheapest I have seen singles so far.

Have you tried the HEB cola with sugar cane?
//www.city-data.com/forum/san-a...ane-sugar.html

That's the one I usually buy.
It's about 12 cans and is about the same price as the other sodas.
