They may have bison burgers, but I've eaten there only once. And I'll never go back. Probably the worst burger I've ever had. Anywhere.

Best burger ever at "Ports of Call" in New Orleans! Huge, delicious and comes with a giant baked potato taboot!

Murf burgers are actually very good but it might be considered ghetto for some.

Had another go with Alamo Springs Cafe and still convinced it's the best burger in and outside SA.....worth the drive. It's only 1hr from 410. To put it another way....the vegetarian in the group whom ordered a hamburger without meat also considered it one of the best she's had.

need some more peeps to take the drive out there and check it out.

next time you go, I'll ride shotgun and just take a couple bites of your burger and maybe an onion ring or two

that's how I go out to eat now and it saves me a ton of money

Don't you have a bike? It's biker haven out there. you literally do have to ride shotgun...one of the oldest untouched areas of SA/Texas...still lots of old stone fences and oak trees on the route, not much else. Rare to see traffic. Bet still Indians out there...
