Don't need one yet but I am buying a saab and would like to know who to take it to when I need to.

Anyone know of any great auto shops that specialize in saabs in San Antonio?

I thought Saab was being discontinued by GM like the Saturn and Hummer brands.

Barrett is going to be the new Saab dealer. They are building a new dealership next to their Jaguar franchise on I-10. Ken Bachelor was ok, but they like there parent Sewell is ditching Saab.

I also am not looking for a dealer, but a repair shop that specializes in saabs.

Oh ok. Good luck finding a shop. Saab is not a brand I see very often around here.

I used to take my 900 NG to European Car Parts. They seemed to know what they were doing for the most part and they work on SAABs fairly often.
I would also highly recommend looking at the many DIY websites specifically for SAAB owners including Saabnet.com: General BB: Thread Index. If or more likely when you have a problem I would recommend asking on a DIY website first so you have an idea of what is wrong with your car before you bring it in the get it worked on, or decide to fix it yourself.

good luck!

Thanks guys, specifically dedalus, exactly what I was looking for!

I know there is a great place in Austin so they do exist around here, just looking for one closer. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the same place, but Austin has Swedish Auto Service. They are a quirky place, but I know only one guy will work on my Sportcombi and that is it. It's a drive though for you, but you can always spend the day in Austin.
