It looks like part of that area is called Huntleigh Park: http://www.sanantonio.gov/planning/p...ssociation.pdf

And you have to zoom in a lot but you can see all the different neighborhoods in that area on this map:http://www.sanantonio.gov/planning/p...d/1011GP03.pdf

It does look like maybe N.O.P.E. was a google maps error or an abbreviation for something, but it's true that if you look on trulia or zillow, you can find home listings with the neighborhood listed as N.O.P.E. San Antonio.

It is not only the map - you google N.O.P.E. San Antonio and you get many results...

I know, but the map said it for a long while. So national websites like gocitykids or yellowbook would be referring to the area by its designation on Google maps, even if it was just a code for google not having the data or something like that.
