Hi, My boyfriend and I are relocating to San Antonio from Kansas City. Can someone help us narrow down the best areas to live where we can be near dining/shopping/nightlife? We are 23-24 years old and don't have any kids yet so we'd like to be near other people our age. Please help!!

Do you know where you'll be working?

If I were in my 20s, I'd be looking at living downtown or in Southtown.

I'll send you a DM regarding San Antonio. Good luck!

Oh, and I'll vote for near/north of downtown or east of I-10 between Loop 410 and 1604. Loads to do around either of those two areas.

Ignore his DM, much like we all try to ignore him.

The boyfriend will be working at the Hyatt Hill Country off of 151 near Sea World. So we'd like to stay within a 20-30 minute drive from there. Thanks!!

Yeah, what Benjamin said. The only thing firstclass about this guy is his unsettling, bizarre dedication to DM'ing negative things about San Antonio, especially since he doesn't even live here any more.

We got the standard DM from him when we were looking to move here, too. I read it, was mildly amused by the lack of basic spelling and grammar skills, then promptly blocked him.

Oh, and... yeah, I'd look at Southtown, too... Or maybe over near the North St. Mary's area around Mulberry...

Do you have to leave Missouri or just want to? We are leaving HERE to come back home to MO and retire! You will get all kinds of opinions of SA, but I hope you are able to at least visit before you commit.

Yeah, anything along that western arc 1604 takes all the way up to the university, as well as anything serviced by highway 151... ignore those areas completely. Zero night life whatsoever unless an exciting night out at Applebees is your thing...
