Not sure of the name, but it's right behind the new Valero station on the corner of Culebra and the road to Walmart.....well, behind the strip mall that's behind the Valero. It is supposed to be getting a new walking trail.

The park at 1604 and Culebra is called Culebra Creek Park. There's nothing there yet though except a little parking lot and a large grassy area, at least there wasn't when we drove through it a couple of months ago. http://www.sanantonio.gov/parksandre...bra_creek.aspx

Thanks for taking care of that. The little creek next to the park is beautiful, but more and more fast food wrappers are being blown into that wilderness...

There is tom Slick Park on 151 across from Target. I think its 151. There is a trail that goes back by the "lake", A baseball diamond and playgound. Not a very big one. But there is lots of room to run. Works for my boys. Just taught my oldest how to ride with no training wheels on the open field!

There is also OP Schnapel. Of Bandera inside of 1604. Lots of walking and riding trails, picnic areas, playground and a huge pavillion. Its right behind the YMCA!

We go to the Duck pond all the time. Never had any problems there. Lots of people walking with the dogs. The only downfall is its pretty dirty most of the time. People just cant seem to pick up after themselves...or their dogs!

There's needs to be more trash cans there...I go frequently and they needs to be more especially near the corner where the portable restrooms are because of the ice cream trucks. I always carry dog poop bags with me (they are attached to my dogs leash) but there should be a few dog poop bag stations and trash cans for the waste.
