Is there some place I could drop glass bottles off for recycling? I live in an area out in the country with no recycling done here whatsoever and know places to drop off newspapers and aluminum cans, but feel bad about all the glass. Does any place accept them other than out-of-my-way recycling facilities?

Our recycling/refuse service (Waste Management/Allied) no longer even accepts glass for recycling, due to "market conditions"...meaning, that there is little to no market for glass right now...

Guys, there are huge markets for glass in Texas. Greenstar is a great place to take your glass in the San Antonio area. Not sure why Allied and WM don't take it. We do it in Austin!!!

Well, from what I see, Greenstar is listed in S.A., but both places are to the east side, not doable for me.
