What is the status of the orange and cream striped buildings going up across from RIM? Is there a website that explains the development? Is there a tenant yet?

I like the look - it's different from the played out tuscan thing whose time has come and gone already (the stripes come off as Moorish IMO).

This would be nice to see in San Antonio. When is the estimated completion date?

This project is going up quick unlike any other projects in San Antonio. Heck, a small hotel off 1604 just west of 281 is still in construction after 3 years.

I think you are referring to the Staybridge Suites that has had construction issues for the last few years. I hear that the owners/investors are out of Mexico and did/do not have the requisite experience dealing with contractors, etc. So, they have had tremendous cost increases and multiple contractors.

Still, looks like it will be completed soon.

Default New Construction between La Cantera and The Rim

Maybe this has been asked in another thread, but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything...

Does anyone have any information on the construction going on right now between La Cantera and The Rim, right off I-10?
It looks like there could be some residential and shopping...just curious
