I absolutely love this about Fiesta!

I definitely wouldn't take kids to Market Square, NIOSA or any other night events (not fun for either parents or kidlets), but the Battle of Flowers parade and King William Fair are family-friendly, IMO.

I went to some events as a child--in the 70's but after going to NIOSA and La Semana in college most events are off-limits to my kids. I'm sure they'd love the parades but since my neighbors were in gunshot range back in the 70's when the sniper was there, I'm too scared to take them. I'm going to AH Night with my AH living friend and I thought we'd make our own little Fiesta party at home next weekend. It would be nice if there were more kid-appropriate things for them to do during Fiesta.

This idea doesn't make sense. NIOSA has always been a non-family type of event, as far back as I can remember. I see just as many families as I do young singles.
