This is seriously driving me nuts!

My house back up to this business area and all the other businesses that have sprouted up in the area across the street from Wal-Mart. I believe that's where the new All-State Call Center is, Blue Cross Blue Shield and i believe SWBC, United Healthcare too...etc etc etc. The growth is good. The jobs are good (well the construction isn't).

Between maybe 2007-2009 there was construction being done in the early morning. I mean early, like 3-4am. I may have heard it because I'm a light sleeper. So that's annoying. A company also built some type of generator that would start at about the same time. It would go off at about 8 in the morning though so it wouldn't be too much trouble. It would also start when the power went out. Well, that's good.

However, for the past few days this thing has been going nonstop. It's a constant humming that even covers up the highway noise. I mean, how loud does something have to be to cover up highway noise? I bet I couldn't even hear a fire truck come by the house because of this thing.

It looks like a place called Noah's Technologies backs right up to the house (well to the greenbelt that is). Is that the company making all the noise or do any of you that work in the area think that it's someone else? I want to rip my hair out! Even with the windows closed I can hear it at all times of day now. Does anyone else around the city deal with this type of noise? What do you do? Put on some really loud music to drown it out? Thanks for any help!
