Just checked on the traffic info for another thread and saw this:

Two killed in head-on crash with suspected drunken driver

Another two lives taken by drunk driver. How many more accidents like this are needed till the law will change?

Good choice of words for her

I could think of a couple adjectives to throw in there, but they'd just end up as ******* piece of **** and things like that...

right.. it's so hard to tell when a person's been drinking and driving. I seriously wish this only happened to the drunks themselves and people that make statements like this.

I think they meant penalty. It's murder as far as I'm concerned and they completely intended on doing it too. I'm almost 44 and have yet to accidentally get drunk. You know it's going to happen and it does. Even the idiots in this city should be able to figure that out.

This was updated two hours ago. If you have any more recent update, then please post it.
However it does not change the fact that she was driving the wrong way on the Northeast Side.

" Taylor Rae Rosenbusch sustained minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital, where officials said she was booked by proxy on two counts of intoxication manslaughter."

I don't see a word "suspected" anywhere...

There was another similar accident today:

http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/loc...sh-1371094.php

And here:" Officers suspect Balders may have been intoxicated."

It says her parents were on the way to see her. It is SO tempting to go there and just observe this situation. If the words "she's a good girl" ever came out of their mouths, it would be a good thing they were already in the hospital..
I made it very clear to my kids that this type of behavior would never be tolerated, they would only technically be my kids if they ever got themselves into this kind of situation, and they would never have to worry about seeing me again. And it worked perfect..

While I 10000% feel the pain and loss of someone who has lost a loved one to a driver who has gotten behind the wheel intoxicated, it does us no good to be the judge, jury and executioner in an incident that occurred last night. It seems that many posters in the San Antonio City-Data forum have a way of convicting people of crimes before they even go to trial. This isn't the first time I've seen someone say that "they did it! Send them to jail!"

That being said, I feel like we start a new thread for every single drunken person in the city. Can't we just have one thread to discuss all the issues? It sure doesn't make the city look very appealing to someone who is trying to decide between several other cities to see 5+ threads on similar bad topics. It's almost like the news, let's focus on the good news, not the bad news.

But, that's just my opinion, of course.

I think that's an excellent idea, but for the exact opposite reason.. it will be a virtual sticky because everyone knows that hardly a day goes by without some drunk murderer killing yet another person or group of people here in this fine city. People absolutely should know that too! If I had an option of moving here, reading about all these drunk idiots every single day and seeing a thread with (most likely eventually) hundreds of pages devoted only to drunk drivers in this city, I would immediately shred that crazy idea..

and as far as convicting before they're guilty.. sorry, but only an absolute fool would think this person is innocent. They were observed by multiple people (cop included) going the wrong way down 35. That alone points to a drunk. Then there's the time it happened and she more than likely smelled of alcohol. That's pre-school math there, so it's even San Antonio proof, maybe..
