I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra with 50K miles; took my car to the dealer and .... enough said right? Does anyone know of a GOOD REPUTABLE Import mechanic that is honest and won't overcharge?

What part of town do you live in? There are good repair/maintenance shops all over SA. If you are up in the NW side, my favorite is MD Automotive just outside of 1604 off Culebra/471.

Just to note that the majority of car repair places will work on most any car, there is nothing significantly different about your Elantra that would require someone to be a specialist in imports.

And I know what you mean about being breech-loaded by a dealer, I did that for the longest time before I wised up and learned that independent shops can be just as good and a lot cheaper, as long as you take the time and effort to research and find the right one!

Good luck! M2
