You might be surprised there are others who post here who also wear snug clothes and listen to indie music. The huge square plastic frames I own are also nice. You are right though that those things do no make one a hipster and when it comes to fashion it just makes us a follower of trends. Add in special diets and buying certain brands is just buying into something else, which many others are also doing.

Hipsters are most likely already dying out in the places they started such as Williamsburg. In San Antonio there are plenty of indie kids and cliques of them running around but there has never been or will there ever be a scene. At least not under the "hipster" label.
