Hello,
Our CYO just got back from a Summer Trip to TN where we went whitewater rafting. It was fantastic. We are starting to plan next years' trip to San Antonio and we're looking for real whitewater, not tubing. Can anyone advise.
Thank you

Hope that we get lots of rain and they release a ton of water from Canyon Dam...otherwise, you're out of luck.

The Guadelupe may be white again again next year if we get the same amount of rain we got this year.
However, you can go to Big Bend National Park in west Texas and raft the Rio Grande there. Some of it is white water and some calm. It's more beuatiful than the Grand Canyon. Maybe it's because your looking up out of the canyons, not standing on the edge saying" I want to go down there"
