We'll ignore that my husband and I were "older" (early 30s), single, and met in San Antonio....

Having been to Albuquerque since my last post, there are a lot of things I liked about that town but I would still recommend San Antonio simply based on the larger population and more things to do.

Plus, the nightlife in Albuquerque was no better or worse than SA. There were some nice restaurants and bars there, but nothing that would give it an edge over San Antonio.

The SA medical community appears to be much larger than ABQ. I didn't really notice a concentrated medical area like we have here, and I pretty much covered the entire city during my stay.
