how much head notice do you need to give CPS, SAWS, Time Warner, etc. to move their services to a new place?

Good luck - they are typically installed in/on easements, which means that they have the right to be there and aren't required to move 'em!

Uh, I think he just meant, he is moving from one home to another and needs his water, electricity, phone shut off at the old home and new service installed at the new home.

I would just start calling all of them. it is just a couple of days lead time.

Ah....oops!

Yeah - usually a couple of weeks is what we've done - better to be a bit ahead of time than behind - especially seems like the phone company and cable are the slowest to react. Also, don't forget to DISCONTINUE SERVICE at the old addy - and call as soon as you're out to be SURE they did it!!!
