I remember McCreless Mall, too. It was a nice mall for a long time. I don't like the HEB Plus at McCreless, either. It is too noisy and it is kind of ghetto... even though it is new. Brooks City Base shopping does not have that feeling... the tree were left, it seems well planned and I like it. I am so glad Brooks City Base is growing. I can't wait until the new businesses and restaurants open up. I wish they would put in a Kohls so I would not have to drive all the way to the Forum.

What? You're not prejudice? I think you're in denial. If you think San Antonio has lost its charm, maybe you should move. I live in SE SA, and take pride in my neighborhood, home, etc. If there's a problem with a store, I take a proactive approach and discuss with management. You're right, you're entitled to your opinion, and I agree, there are areas that need improvement but dont categorize everyone/everything in the SE SA.
