I got some Dungeness crab leg clusters from Alon last week, they were spoiled. I got them home and took a whiff and they smelled of ammonia. I was really disappointed, since they usually have pretty fresh product in stock. I had no problems getting my money returned. The seafood guy was surprised I was getting them, he said they weren't very popular vs. snow and king crab legs. That should have been my clue.

Grommer's has some really good seafood...I think you will be pleased.
