In Stage 3, SA's city council can take any action it deems necessary for water conservation. I doubt that one of those actions will be to tell the group of citizens you listed, who vote more than any other, that they can't hand water.

We may be moving down there to SA from Portland OR and now I am getting very nervous about the drought situation. I mean I know we have to acclimate to the weather when you move (did that when I moved from So Cal to Houston... boy was that an adjustment) but I feel like I am going to be thrown into fire and remain there without a possibilty of adjusting. The move would take place by mid September. In a normal year what type of weather does SA see in Fall time? Hey... maybe I will be bringing some of this cold and rainy weather to SA...

I would say there's no such thing as a "normal" year here in Central Texas. Some years we get a lot of rain (cough, cough, 2007) and some years we get none, like this year. You mentioned you'd be moving by mid-September? It might become more temperate, or it might stay this hot as it is now, depending on how the drought conditions keep developing or if something stronger than Don comes in and attempts to obliterate the drought.

We'll see. I do have to say, though: if there's even the smallest chance of you bringing rain to us all by your lonesome......MOVE DOWN HERE YESTERDAY!!!!!!
