I would like a nice neighborhood type bar that also serves decent food where one could get a good drink and have a conversation without having to yell across a table. Private booths would be nice too Kind of like the bar in Cheers. If someone could point me to one of these please do so.

The Lion & Rose? I guess that's more of a pub, though.

What sort of bar is Stone Oak missing? One with naked women! That would be great.
I promise I tried! They wouldn't let me! Once the companies heard gentlemens club I was shown the door! I'll find a desperate lease company soon enough!

But I will agree 210 needs a diff kinda bar/club scene other than what we have.

i agree

we need a minimal bar scene and no club scene at all. we already have issues with certain peoples who have a cultural resistance to driving drunk. last thing we need is new venues for them to get smashed at and kill more people.

I agree. LOL. Broadway and 410 has too many bars and too many drunk drivers around on WEEKDAYS! I feel sorry for the McDonald's and Whataburger employees, especially now that Whataburger's dining room is open 24/7.

Whataburger opened 24/7 for a reason. $$$$$$
And anyone remember the bars that were themed, like Cool Million(several owned by the same guys, but I can't remember the rest of them) and the others like the Rogue(owned by a different bunch of guys). The former were pretty laid back, while the latter had bands most nights. Actually, the Spurs bar on Austin Hwy and the place where Babe's is now on Perrin Beitel was always pretty cool.
