Someone back into my car and I have some minor damage. He's insured with Allstate, so took my car in for inspection, but not sure where to have it repaired. Any recommendations of good repair shops in the area? Allstate sent me a check not sure why because I want my vehicle fixed!!!!

mrstxcop....If your Good Friend is the Owner of Legend Collision he has an EXCELLENT COMPANY. "Unfortunately" we have had to take two of our vehicles there within the past 8 months. "Fortunately" they do Excellent work and I highly recommend them.

I do not recommend Calliber Collison. Our car was repaired but when we brought it home, some items were still not right. We took it back and it was fixed but those items should have been clearly noticeable when staff took the car for a test drive. They do repair your vehicle quickly though.

For years we took our vehicles to their shop inside Loop 410 at Bandera. The last time was 2008-2009 when our Son's Honda Accord Coupe was hit by a drunk. They baked the car so much that the sheet metal rippled....seriously. We found that out on the day the car was supposed to be ready. The damned Service Advisor said he didn't notice anything. The three of us did and it wasn't until I asked for the GM that he saw them. The only way to get the ripples out was to have a Fellow who does Paintless Dent Removal work them out. So there was another day at the Shop. The Butt that they hired scratched the outside of the Driver's window with one of his tools. Again the Advisor didn't notice the sratches. From then on we dealt with the GM. When they called to say the car was ready we all met at the shop for the final inspection...we thought. Again, I'm serious.....The car must have been washed with a dirty mit or towel. The paint in various places had surface scratches. Now the GM played Dumb Ass and said that the paint wasn't scratched it was the way the color reflected the sun. The car is a Dark Grey Metallic. We got into a pissing contest and I reminded him we bought the car new in 2006 and it was NEVER washed or dried in a careless manner. Another day at the shop to buff out the scratches. Finally they got it right. Our Son kept the rental car for the extra days but they paid...not State Farm. I called the Corporate Office (California I think) and they were as useless as **** on a boar hog. NEVER AGAIN would I use them and I will never recommend them.

Took my Mustang here twice, thanks to an incompetent SA driver and a thief that was better at damaging a brand new car than he was at actually getting inside one...
