I'm happy for you guys, but prepare to get that annual spanking by LaTech. I'm not happy as a LaTech fan still being in the WAC after all that's happened, BUT at least that's one game I don't have to travel to North Louisiana for. Here's to tailgating, my UTSA friends!

One thing people need to realize though, is that it'll take time to build the program. I hope the initial losing streak and some unexciting matchups don't kill the energy around the program in the first few years. There's a lot of potential for San Antonio to support the team, as long as they don't get discouraged early on. Nonetheless, the Bulldogs are comin' the lay the smackdown!

I was figuring I would catch a home game late in the season, after the novelty has worn out. The first one might sell out, but I doubt the fifth one will.

Excited for UTSA, but you might want to enjoy Coker while he's there. There's a better than 0% chance he gets caught up in this University of Miami scandal, since a lot of the allegations took place under his watch.

IMO Coker's job is safe, since he isn't at Miami anymore. UTSA AD Lynn Dickey doesn't seem inclined to hold anything against him, based on quotes I've read. About the only other scenario that would jeopardize his job is an NCAA ban and it's been a long time since the NCAA banned a coach.

I'd be shocked if more than 30,000 show up for any game, including the first one. Like Barkley's book title reads, "I might be wrong, but I doubt it!"
