"Conservatives" are also the leading cause of "denying progression" as well on same-sex marriage because of their intolerance, hatred, bigotry and hypocristy on that subject. But I won't go there.

wanting to drill locally = / = drilling into oblivion. this is an assumption that is told as truth by the left and is another lie.
Drill all you want, but IF WE DON'T DO SOMETHING ELSE "other" than "drill, baby drill" THERE WILL BE ZERO IMPROVEMENT in helping our planet Earth and we won't be doing anything else than just leading us down a path to more destruction of our planet.

I don't know about you, but I like the planet that I live on, and I believe we should CLEAN IT UP, and stop furthering the destruction of our planet.

ANY likeminded individual also believes that we need to do more than just DRILL. BTW, you should look up how much oil is along our coastline.

What are we going to do when it runs out? Invade other countries? Steal it? What?

Eventually it's GOING TO RUN OUT, and common sense says: hey, let's try other methods.

Solar/wind/cleaner (corn) fuels are all excellent avenues.....heck there are even cars that run on water....yes, water (it's on youtube.com).

Good - because most of the wars/"police actions" have come about while "liberals" were in the White House. But, hey - I won't go there...

You didn't really say "corn", didja? My friend, you need to do some independent research of you OWN - because not only does it take more energy to produce corn that it can replace, using corn as an alternative fuel feedstock drives food prices WAY up. Do a little research on this - you'll see what I mean! I'm all for alternative fuels - but they've got to make sense AND be cost-effective. It's like the "hybrid vehicles" - the carbon footprint for one of those is HUGE - and the actual payoff is essentially non-existent.

And heaven knows - if it's on youtube, it's GOT ta be true!!!
